BOØWY is a Japanese rock band.
They were active in the 1980s.
I don’t know BOØWY properly because of my generation.
But I like their music.
First of all, they have overwhelmingly charismatic vocals and guitars.
The beat that supports it.
The beat rock genre is unique to Japan, with a very hard snare drum setting and a guitar style that uses a lot of strumming, and the vocal parts are characterized by catchy melody lines.
BOØWY is said to be the band that established this beat rock style.
