THE BLUE HEARTS is a Japanese punk rock band formed in 1985, and made their major label debut in 1987. The band was active from the late 1980s to the early 1990s, and disbanded in 1995.

Pure punk rock without any tricks or gimmicks.

The vocalist, Hiroto, says, “I like gentle songs. Even though I’m a punk rocker!

I thought this is what punk is all about.

I felt how important and difficult it is to be honest.

When THE BLUE HEARTS appeared on the scene, Japan was in the midst of an uncontrollable economic bubble, and the price of everything was going up, and almost everyone was getting carried away with their vanity.

At that time, THE BLUE HEARTS sang the honest and simple truth.
