SOBUT is a Japanese punk rock band formed in 1995.

They are still active with many member changes.

I love them.

People used to say that SOBUT was not punk just because of their appearance.

Most of the “real punk bands” that those people liked to listen to have either disbanded and are no longer active, or are just commercial bands that have reunited for money.

HIDE is the only member left from the beginning of SOBUT, but he’s still active even though he’s sick and can’t play bass anymore.

It’s super cool!

I believe this is what “real punk” is all about!
