SONHOUSE was formed in 1970 in Fukuoka, Japan, as a rebel against the heyday of folk rock in Japan, and focused on blues rock.
At that time in Japan, a band was more likely to be a live house band, playing covers to suit the tastes of the audience, but SONHOUSE advocated the pursuit of their own blues and attracted attention as a band that played original Japanese blues rock music.
The guitars sounded awesome and cool, and the erotic lyrics were “This is it! This!” I love it.
